Youth Theatre Online: Romeo & Juliet

This news story is from 19 May 2020.

Whilst our youth theatre workshops are suspended to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are sharing weekly updates with theatre related online resources for our youth theatre. We’ve added the newsletter here in case it’s helpful for others too!

Week 9: 18/05/2020

Romeo & Juliet: this week’s play screening

Shakespeare’s most tragic love story is revived in this modern interpretation by the Royal Shakespeare Company where two star-crossed lovers risk everything to be together. Captured live in Stratford-upon-Avon, Erica Whyman’s lively reimagining focuses on the pains of adolescence and stars Charlotte Josephine as the bold Mercutio.

p.s. one of our trustees is an actor in this show. If you have any questions about the production I can pass them on!
