NYAT partners with Move It 2025 to support young performers

In an exciting new collaboration, MOVE IT, the world’s biggest dance event has teamed up with the National Youth Arts Trust to break down financial barriers for young people pursuing a career in the performing arts. This partnership aims to ensure that talented individuals from all backgrounds have access to the opportunities they need to succeed in the industry.

This initiative will allow MOVE IT to work with NYAT to ensure that tickets from the MOVE IT Forward scheme are distributed to those who need them most. The MOVE IT Forward scheme is designed to support aspiring performers by giving them access to classes, performances, and networking opportunities at MOVE IT 2025 from 7-9 March.

Additionally, those who are not selected for MOVE IT’s Bursary scheme will now have another opportunity by being redirected to NYAT’s own bursary scheme. The MOVE IT bursary enables young dancers (aged 16+) interested in dance, the opportunity to attend MOVE IT on a day of their choice and immerse themselves in the full experience. NYAT’s bursary scheme gives music, dance & drama bursaries to financially disadvantaged young people to help them gain access to education in the arts.

This partnership strengthens both MOVE IT and National Youth Arts Trust ability to reach aspiring performers who may struggle with the cost associated with arts education and professional development. For many young performers, financial constraints make it difficult to attend events like MOVE IT, this partnership aims to change that by opening doors for those with talent and passion but with barriers to funding their journey.

MOVE IT will take place from 7-9 March 2025 at ExCeL London, offering attendees an unforgettable experience filled with performances, workshops and networking opportunities, all aimed at empowering the next generation of talent.
