Usually your referee would be a teacher who has taught you in the past. It can’t be a family member.
You must have a referee to apply, unless you’re applying for an audition recall (access) bursary.
Ask your referee to write a reference for you to send in with your application form, detailing why they believe you are a strong candidate for an NYAT bursary and the impact a bursary would have. The reference must be on official letterhead paper, and the referee must sign it, stamp it, and include their full contact details.
